Felton, MN - Children and Health

Turn into a Snake at Noon for One Hour Everyday

Hey there free breakfast that killed half of our taste buds with the super hot tea. We had breakfast at La Quinta, and learned that there are four Continental Divides in the United States and the one we passed yesterday separates the waters that go up to the Arctic.

We tried to find Riding on Angels Wings but the GPS couldn't find the address, so we decided to wing it. We wound up lost on a two-lane gravel road, surrounded by fields that were flooded with water and covered with a layer of ice on top.

We drove through Felton before we realized we were in it, so we turned around and pulled into the one-pump gas station to ask for directions. The attendant didn't know where our site was. Taylore asked him if we would fall in the water if we walked on the snow. His response? "Probably." He also told us that if we were looking to see things, we were in the wrong town.

There was however, a playground partially covered in snow so we made ourselves dizzy sick on the merry-go-round, played on the teeter totter and climbed up the jungle gym. We also managed to fit our entire group on a slide. Then we walked to the Felton town sign- population 216. From it, we could see the other Felton sign.

And that was all before lunch.

We checked into our hotel in Moorhead, Minnesota and played charades. Caroline's phone had an ap with the oddest charades topics on it such as: See a ghost and be able to communicate with it, Switch clothes with you boss every other day, and work as a snake and spider venom maker.

We heard from the people from Riding on Angels Wings and we are so excited to start our service tomorrow. We are all planning on wearing old clothes because we were told we will be getting our hands dirty
