Today on March 24, 2015, our MAB group completed day two on the build site.  We constructed gutters, plastered walls, painted and trimmed walls, finished touching up the sidewalk, moved wood, and played with our neighborhood Quality Control Manager, Boots, and his pitbull friend. In the middle of our workday we were fortunate enough to take a break and have lunch with the women whose houses we were helping build. It was great to finally put a face to the house that we were becoming connected to. Adriana and Vera both shared their stories with us, and we got to share with them what home meant to each of us.  We discussed later in the day how impacting these stories were.  Most of us felt driven to work harder and achieve perfection after returning to the build site; we took to heart how important our service was.  After leaving the build site we decided to coordinate dinner with the Berkley group. It's Tuesday so tacos were a must. After bellies and hearts were full with good food and good stories, we set out for the Mamby Hot Springs that line the Rio Grande River.  We got lost numerous times, but the hot spring and the surrounding view were well worth it. Overall, today was a great day.
