Dallas 1 - Homelessness and Poverty (2)

Hello friends and family!

Today was another exciting day for our group.  We left University Park United Methodist Church before 7:30 am and set out to explore Dallas on our free day.  After rocking out to tunes in the GMC vehicle, we settled down to visit the Dallas Museum of Art.  While there, a few of us tested our skills in art competing against each other.  Tyler won the competition with his work, "Tickets to my Words".

Next up for us was lunch at In N' Out Burger, a first time for many members.  We then headed straight to the Holocaust Museum to learn more about Europe and Nazi Germany during World War II.  Now in the late afternoon, we drove back to the church to cool off and take a long nap.

For dinner, we ordered Serious Pizza (4 Large to be exact) and managed to eat half of what we received.  After battling it out in Four Square, it was time to play Guitar Hero on the big screen.  Zach Sharp was the victor, pulling off a 419 note streak in the last song of the night.  We put on 22 Jump Street shortly after and called it a night.  A great Sunday in everyone's mind.
