Day one at the Lost-n-Found Youth Center was nothing short of our expectations! Early on in the week we have already mastered the art of being GUMBY and it's great. Upon entrance to the youth center, the vibe and energy was so positive and the staff was really welcoming and glad to have us there. They couldn't believe we had come alll the way from Mizzou to help them out! Today's tasks included straightening up the consignment shop. Tagging..sorting..hanging..moving..you name it! This is a non-profit organization,so all of the proceeds are going towards building up shelters for LGTBQ youth in Atlanta! Also, anything that goes unwanted is bagged up to be sent over to a third world country. Nothing goes to waste!
