Fulton - Environment

After our long drive to Fulton, MO (40 minutes) we arrived at the Callaway Christian Church who graciously agreed to host us. We named our mini vans Swaggin' wagon and the mystery machine! Creative huh? We got a tour of the church, which is huge and has many cool hiding spots, which we later discovered while playing hide and seek. We made a trip to Walmart for food and then headed back to the church to cook our tacos. We also got lucky and had homemade guacamole made by the one and only Topher. Along with playing hide and seek we also played a card game and learned a lot about each other.

During our reflection tonight, we talked about how we are so excited to serve at Kingdom Projects and how they are really looking forward to having us with them this weekend. Two of the directors of the project stopped by the church to say hello to us and mentioned that they will be providing us with all three meals tomorrow, which will be awesome!

We talked about what we are hoping to get out of this trip, including successfully working as a team and helping others do stuff that they might not be able to get the chance to do. We also talked about how much we like the concept of alternative breaks and we love how fast participation is growing! MIZ-MAB!!!
