Nashville -- SHP Health

Today, we finished serving at our first site of the week — Project C.U.R.E. This organization works to identify areas around the world in need of medical equipment. After sorting the donations given to them, they ship the necessary supplies. Over the past two days, we have helped package crutches, walkers, Kits for Kids and post-natal kits. Together, we worked as a team and bonded with each other and some of the regular volunteers. By the end of the day, we were able to put a pin on the map of locations that Project C.U.R.E. has supported. That place was Abuja, Nigeria. Our time spent here was very rewarding; we got to see where our supplies were headed, and talked more about health disparities around the world.
