Hi friends!
We are having an amazing time here in Atlanta! We started the week with a quick trip to the Coca Cola factory, where we were able to try out various Coke products from around the world. Then after an evening of bonding, we started our Monday morning at one of our new favorite organizations, Books for Africa. We served this organization by sorting and packaging books for them to send to various countries in Africa. Everyone found organizing books very relaxing and fun to participate. Many of us relived our childhoods through reading our favorite childhood stories. Then after a quick lunch break back at our church, we headed to our second service site, Wings for Kids. At Wings for Kids, we are able to interact and hang out with the kiddos. We were each paired with a Wings leader to help them lead their small group of kindergarten through fifth graders. We have been having a blast working with both of these organizations this week. We also had the opportunity to hit up the Atlanta Carnival for a little bit on Tuesday night, which was very enjoyable!
