Chattanooga- Habitat for Humanity

Day 3: We did some things! And also some stuff! Day 3 was all work and no play (other than the 2 hours of "heads up" we played… and the ice cream… and the card game… and the taco tuesday… you get the picture). The Habichatt group finally broke out our power tools and work gloves and started sawin' and sandin' stuff. We got to meet the must humble and kind homeowner we could possibly ask for and began working to make his home a better place for him. Today we learned that Hailey isn't good at math or art, that Chattanooga pretty much names every store/ restaurant after their town (ex: Taconooga), and that John is the king of all Justin Bieber music. A direct quote from the habitat crew was, "Wow you guys are the most talented, best looking, and hardest working group we've ever had! no one could ever possibly compare!" It was so unexpected, but we just told them we do what we can. We all feel as if we were born with a crowbar in our hands (bad parenting, perhaps?). Day 4 is looking promising. As long as Kate doesn't throw up in the morning again, we expect to have another wonderful day full of chainsaws, machetes, and healthy competition.
You know you love us. XoXo,
Habichatt
