Chattanooga - Habitat for Humanity

Day 1: We arrived to the charming city of Chattanooga, Tennessee and immediately almost burned down the church that so graciously allowed us to stay in their holy doors. You say frozen pizza? We say fire hazard waiting to happen. After fanning down the smoke from the oven, we sat down to a delicious meal at around 11:45 P.M. With a quick viewing of intellectually stimulating film, Wall-E, we decided to call it a night in anticipation of the week to come.

Day 2: 8:00 A.M. wake up call, and it's off to the re-store! The habitat headquarters greeted us with libations and the finest cuisine made up of glazed donuts and clementines, which our eager and hungry group devoured. We then completed a team-building activity in record time! (Ok, probably not record time, but we did complete it eventually)  Next up came our heavy lifting. We bonded with the irreplaceable workers and debated the details of the film, Matilda. As our day came to an early end, we explored the wonderful city, and even found a Walgreens! No matter where you go, there is always a piece of home. After devouring a home made Italian dinner made by our group members (the lettuce was a little frozen, but we're not complaining), we decided to partake in a dinner murder-mystery (which Blake naturally ended up ruining, but again, we're not complaining), and laughed the night away. It's been so far so good here on Habichatt, and we can't wait for the rest of the week. Bless up.

(Not Pedestrian Bridge but we walked across that today)

PS….Why the sad face Kate??
