Jackson, MS - Health (Post 3)

Unfortunately, we were not able to send in our blog yesterday due to limited Wi-Fi access. On Tuesday we started off our day bright and early at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. We saw a two-headed snake (both heads were functional) and a basilosaurus that lived thirty million years ago. Then, we had a very nutritional picnic lunch outside the museum.

After this, we rode off to Brandon, MS for our last service day with RideABILITY. There, we split into two groups. One group helped with lessons, while the other did chores around the farm. Conan and Chris vacuumed up approximately 300 pounds of horse manure, while others painted poles. After RideABILITY, we went to the grocery store again because we have to go there every single day or it wouldn't be an MAB trip. Conan made chicken alfredo for dinner and we all watched Dallas Buyers' Club before calling it a night.

Today, we started off with a bountiful breakfast with approximately 18 eggs, three bowls of cereal, and a loaf of toast. We meandered down I-55 to the Ronald McDonald House in downtown Jackson, MS. In the Ronald McDonald house, each family has an assigned chore for the day. In order to help out the families, we split up and completed all the chores on the list. After all the chores were done, we cooked tacos for all of the families. They were all extremely grateful and appreciated our services.

Peace, Love, and Blessings,

Jackson
