Charleston, SC 3 - Habitat for Humanity (Post 3)

It was a sun-burnin, knee slapp-in day. We sheathed the whole house, and sawed lots of wood.

Even though we're becoming better and more skilled at building, today was definitely the most tiring because everyone's soreness was catching up with them. We still had a great time at the site though, especially when we got to eat way too much pizza for lunch.

After work with Habitat we made dinner and had a desert of strawberries and cool whip. Then we went to downtown Charleston for a ghost tour. It was so interesting to hear about the haunted history of Charleston and our tour guide was awesome. Charleston is full of people who died in violent and terrible ways; pirates, prostitutes, rich people, scientists, and Edgar Allen Poe's true love, Anna Bell Lee. Overall today was so fun! We laughed so hard and sang super loud in the van. We hope everyone back home in Missouri is staying safe in the bad weather, and family elsewhere is enjoying the spring! One more day of service and then we'll be headed back to Columbia. The trip has been great so far and our last day should be awesome!
