Today was our first day in Detroit. Yay! After 9ish hours in the car we still all love each other 
It was our free day and we had a game plan to do a Detroit scavenger hunt that would take us to all the sites to see. A change of plans occurred thanks to the rain. We went to the General Motors building and sauntered around in hopes of finding hidden gems, a Starbucks was found! Yay! We took some iconic group photos and we all looked beautiful. We walked on the boardwalk and you could see Canada which was v cool. After the rain scared us away we found our way back to the car and we ventured to Mexican Town for lunch. We enjoyed authentic Mexican food and wonderful company. Then we went to the oldest aquarium in the world and a beautiful conservatory. We finished off the day grocery shopping and enjoying some nice Mediterranean food for dinner. After a riveting couple games of Spoons (which Alexis won every time) and a group discussion we are VERY EXCITED for tomorrow (our first official day of service!!) yay!!! Too excited yayay
