Dallas - Homelessness (post 2)

Today was our free day! We woke up and made a big breakfast with chocolate banana pancakes and coffee and tea. The Erin led us in Cardio Dance. That was a high for most of us.

Then we headed into downtown Dallas. We bopped around the North Bishop Arts District, then went to the JFK memorial where you can see the actual spot where he was shot. Then we went to the Ross Perot Natural History Museum which is fun for toddlers and grad students! We ended our day at Babe's Chicken, a family style resturaunt.

We were joined by MAB celebrity alum Brian Reitz, one Dallas friend and two Dallas significant others! It turns out we all have loved ones in Dallas.

We played more Cards Against Humanity today. We still are unfamiliar with most words and phrases.

Kelsey says, "I'm nervous and excited for our first day of service tomorrow! But that's how I feel about every new day, so it's not anything unusual."
