Hey Bloggers,
Today was the last day of our amazing trip to Charleston, SC! The departure was sad but we were able to fit in some fun things throughout the day to make leaving a little easier. The morning started off with all of us coming together and deep cleaning the wonderful house we had the pleasure of staying at. It took a team effort, but after a couple hours we were able to clean all the rooms, bathrooms, clean all the sheets, and even had some extra time to head down to the dock behind the house. Today was the first day the sun really decided to shine in Charleston so we took full advantage of it. After walking down to the dock and soaking up the beauty of the bay while also taking some much needed pictures, we loaded up. Our first stop was the beautiful Folly Beach! We were able to see a compleatly different side of Charleston that was so peaceful and relaxing, and of course we snapped some more pictures. After an hour soaking up the sun on the beach we headed back to downtown Charleston to check out the aquarium! The tickets were actually "in the budget," which was a pleasant surprise to our group. The aquarium had many different attractions including ocean life, jungle life, mountain life etc… and many fun hands on activities. While just over an hour didn't feel like enough time, it was time for us to hit the road back to Atlanta. We split up into our respective cars (Grey and Yang) to tackle the 5 hour drive to our midway house. The night concluded with the announcement of the group superlatives. Everyone is now off to bed in order to get up at 6 am tomorrow morning to finally get back to tiger country. This trip was impacted us all in unforgettable ways and we can't wait to bring it home to Columbia, MO and serve our community together.
Thanks for all of you who supported us and made this trip possible. We appreciate your love and send it right back to you!
XOXO,
