Knoxville - Environment

Grandmothers and friends of the world,

In the words of Ice Cube, "Today was a good day."

The group is dead tired and full (personal pizza night - Wheel Wednesday).

We worked at a homeless shelter (KARM - Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries).

Not only do they provide food and shelter to the needy, but they offer programs to rebuild their lives.

Thanks to our efforts, KARM will continue to be a bed-bug-free facility!

Half the group went for a run. We encountered our friend Matt from Beardsley Farm and his puppy, Charlotte. Charlotte made a new friend (because she only had acquaintances before). On our way home we found a swing set! (Please see attached photo).

The other half of the group made brownies - a lovely post-run workout snack.

A word from each of our friends...

Tommy: "community"
Molly: "babydogs"
Mark: "Aight"
Max: "shelf--butt"
Laura: "groceriesagain"
Jamie: "disinfected"
Jackson: "room"
Haley: "record-setting"
Brigit: "womenpocalypse"
Anna: "misty"
Amber: "zza"
Adam: "compassion"

Don't let the bed bugs bite!

xoxo,

Knox Farmerz 4 Lyfe
