Tampa - Animals

Da last day.

TANK TOPS Medium

Very sad last day. We could have done more, we did so much, but we wanted to work.

We got them weeks ahead in days. We are their first group like this.

Private tour was really cool. We learned about the business side of the shelter from Jeff. We saw them use the enrichment easter eggs. The tigers went all cute on the cinno eggs. People played the silent game, won by Jake. Nico, the cat, sponsored by Jonathan's family was spotted. She is smaller than a domestic cat. The Bobcat extension was completed today, by Stephanie, Rachel, Jake, and started by Jake, Jonathan, and Matt. More leaves were raked. This was important because when the rains come, all the leaves flood the area between the enclosures. As well as removing ticks, and flea habitat. Pam and Kim bought us all t-shirts – We will be sending thank you cards. Jonathan is da shizz. He is like the coolest.

Dear Diary,

Today I looked deep into Jonathan's eyes. They are dreamy.

Our discussion at lunch about horses was very informative, as well as thinking outside the cage about exotic animal rights. More tiger petitions. The bathroom at the Cuban restaurant had a picture of two Bengal tigers, yet they were wrong because one was a white tiger, and is a genetic mutation in-bred, and all descend from one animal.

Dear Diary,

Jon smells like awesomeness.

Jumanji was Squeaky's favorite. Reno tried to eat Stephanie, she would have tasted like beefy deliciousness. Ie stringy chicken.

The sanctuary was closed to the public today. We went to da beach one last time. Casey sits Indian style, and looks awkward.

Sheet metal was painted. Tarps were moved, and transport cages were cleaned.

We took a group photo with a tiger standing behind us.
